Designed by Chrome’s Japan team, the 2026 JPN Collection maintains the brand’s understated color palette (it’s pretty much all black), but still gives off that neon Tokyo vibe.
Comprised of various totes, messenger bags, slings, and backpacks, there are sizes and styles for any outing. And while the material has a very urban look, they’re tough enough for outdoor adventures, too. Here’s a few of the highlights…
The Cohesive 2.0 38L Pack (left) is a dual-compartment travel backpack with laptop sleeve and smaller internal organization in the front portion. The two big compartments make it easy to keep clothes separate from work gear, or basically just avoid having everything piled on top of everything else. External adjustable (and removable) criss-cross straps let you stuff a jacket, blanket, etc., on the outside.
The Grocery Tote 28L Messenger works like a shopping tote bag, but can be worn like a messenger bag, giving you more options for transporting it. Internal pockets (including a padded laptop sleeve), dividers, and water bottle sleeves keep things from jostling around no matter how you’re moving it, and full-length top-zip closure gives you easy access to everything you cram in there.
The Pac Pouch is a compact (2L) way to carry the essentials – camera, wallet, passport, harmonica – and keep them handy. It’s small enough to wear under a jacket for more security, and easy to throw in a pack just so it’s handy wherever, whenever.
The shirts and hat say “Chrome Industries” in Japanese, in case you’re wondering.
Mid-sized slings and pouches are also available, plus a more casual backpack for running to the gym or class are available. All are available in two materials – one smooth and dark gray with black pull-tabs, and the other is black with a tougher ripstop-like material and red pull tabs.
