Artic Trucks is known for building behemoth snow trucks for Iceland’s rugged backcountry and glaciers. Now, they’ve built a consumer-friendly, go-anywhere SUV, using the latest Toyota LC250 Land Cruiser as the base.
And yes, those are 37″ tires with only 1.5″ of suspension lift.

On the surface, the vehicle gets a 10-piece Arctic Trucks widebody package, using their custom fenders to give it a wider look…and keep mud slinging to a minimum. The fenders have an embedded tire pressure guide, removing guesswork when airing up or down.

It comes with 37” (37×12.50 R17) BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 or Mud-Terrain T/A KM3 tyres on new, custom 17×10 Arctic Trucks ‘Heritage’ forged alloy wheels in satin black. They use a dual valve design so you can use quick-release valves to deflate, then inflate with the normal ones.
To fit those tires, they used custom 2-way adjustable Bilstein R53 shocks and long travel front coilovers. Total lift is only 40mm (1.57″), but there were other tricks to fit these tires.

It has a wider track, and they extended the rear axle by one inch. The goal was to create a vehicle that had plenty of traction and ground clearance, but keep it planted for better handling and stability.
This is typical of off-road vehicles from Iceland, where they fit monstrous tires for better flotation through snow and river crossings, but maintain good road manners.

Other features included:
- Arctic Trucks and Toyota speedometer, TPMS and TSS re-calibration
- Arctic Trucks aluminum and high-grip rubber side steps
- Discrete Arctic Trucks 2” rear multifunction receiver hitch
- Contoured and integrated Arctic Trucks off-road mud guards, front and rear
- Arctic Trucks premium interior floor mats (black & lava)
- Distinctive Arctic Trucks AT37 black & lava badging and detailing package (fender flares, doors, side steps, tailgate, wheels, mud guards, gear selector, dash binnacle, sill plates, interior mats, receiver cover)
- Arctic Trucks locking wheel nuts w/ torque wrench

Perhaps the best part is the price. The kit starts at $19,749 USD, with authorized installers throughout North America ready to install it, and a Wyoming-based US HQ for customer service.
Considering the price of building your own from a hodge podge of parts would nearly equal this, it’s a compelling one-stop option for an incredibly capable build.
