Based off their full-size G12, which we reviewed here, the new Arkto C10 camper trailer lets you get just as far off grid, but in a wider range of vehicles.

Weighing just 2,750 lbs (dry weight), the new C10 can be pulled by smaller wagons and SUVS. Arkto recommends having at least a 3,500 lb tow rating, which opens this up to almost any vehicle you’d likely take off-road anyway.

Its GVRW is 4,600 lbs, letting you add up to 1,850 lbs of gear, food, water, and toys if your vehicle can handle it.

Despite being smaller and lighter, it still packs every feature you’d need. And it sleeps two adults, with the ability to add one or two smaller people on the couch-turn-bed platform. Once parked, the top pops up, giving you 6’11” of headroom inside.

It rolls on 31″ tires (265/70R16) with a Timbren axle-less suspension for maximum ground clearance. A 360º Max Coupler gives it all the articulation necessary to negotiate big dips, bumps, and off-camber sections, too.

Electric brakes keep it under control, and four-corner stabilizers keep it level at camp.

The shell is full composite, with 1.5″ thick walls and 2″ thick floor for solid insulation and sound damping. The frame is hot-dipped galvanized steel, and interior framing and cabinetry is aluminum, making it nearly impervious to rust or corrosion.

A slide-out kitchen has a foldout countertop, dual burner stove, sink w/ hot & cold water, drying rack, spice and cutlery drawers, under sink cubby, and low pressure propane quick connect.

Directly above it is a 10 cu.ft. pantry with power outlets, and it’s all covered by a 180º swing-out awning. A 113L electric fridge sits just inside the main door, keeping cold stuff in reach while cooking.

Inside are 18 cu.ft. worth of cabinet space…

…and a 24 cu.ft. external “garage” lets you stow bigger things under the queen-sized main bed. Additional external storage adds up to more than 50 cu.ft. in total, plus a front-facing hitch mount lets you add a bike rack and other accessories.
