Third BF Goodrich KO3 tire drop adds 5 more sizes

The first batch gave us 13 sizes, then 17 more in August, and now October sees 5 new sizes of the BF Goodrich KO3 for huge 22″ rims.

While the first two batches were heavy on replacement sizes, meaning tire sizes that matched what was offered in the KO2, this month’s batch are entirely new sizes for the category.

Specifically, October’s KO3 release includes:

  • 265/60R22 (123S / 63.5lbs)
  • 325/50R22F (127S / 78.2lbs)
  • 305/55R22F (127S / 73.5lbs)
  • 275/50R22 (119S / 61.5lbs)
  • 295/55R22 (125S / 70.1lbs)

Note that two of the sizes have an “F” extended load rating for heavier vehicles.

What makes the KO3 better than the KO2?

Basically, it’s tougher and has a new tread pattern to better handle mud & snow, and be more durable on gravel and loose terrain. They keep their tough sidewalls, and come with a 50,000 mile warranty. For the full story, check our launch coverage here.

    • Hey John. LT255/65R17/D 114/110S will launch May 1. Might take a few days to show up at tire dealers.

What month for will your lt 315/70 r17/d 121s be coming out & would it be a better option than k03 all terrain lt 315/70r17/f for 2017 ford f150 raptor realizing that both have a higher weight rating than ko2 c & I won’t be hauling weight or trailering it curious to your response thanks jimmy !

    • Hey James. The LT315/70R17 LRD KO3 will launch 11/1/2025. It would be a better option than the LRF KO3 out now. Note that we do have the OE version of KO2 for the 2017 Raptor available now.

  4. Do you happen to know when the ko3 in 265/65r18 would be available? I’ve got a ’15 sierra 1500, if I can get the KO3 instead of the KO2 I’d like to do that.
