Bluetti Unveils World’s Smallest 3kWh Portable Power Station

We’re already fans of Bluetti’s power stations, using their Elite 200 V2 and Charger 1 in our GX 470. Now, the new Bluetti Elite 300 packs a massive 3,104Wh of power into about the same compact footprint as the Elite 200.

If you want maximum capacity and output in a tiny space, without needing to add things like inverters, plugs, and ports, the Bluetti Elite 300 is the best compact power station option right now. Here’s what you need to know…

Bluetti Elite 300 Specs & Details

The Elite 300 uses LiFePO₄ cells for approximately 3,500+ charge cycles to 80% capacity retention. Multiple charging methods include AC wall charging, solar panel input, and 12V vehicle charging through appropriate adapters (like their Charger 1 and Charger 2). Built-in safety systems include over-current protection, short circuit protection, and thermal management.

A 2,400W inverter capacity enables operation of mid-range (aka “overland-sized) appliances and electronics, while the 3,014Wh energy storage provides extended runtime. That makes it perfect for running heated mattress pads or blankets through the night and still charging your phones, action cameras, etc.

Bluetti Elite 300 vs Elite 200V2

Remarkably, the 50% more power comes in almost exactly the same size, and weighs just 4.5 pounds more. Here’s how they compare at a glance:

The notable difference is in continuous output, where the Elite V2 beats the 300 slightly. But, realistically, you’d need to be running a microwave, kettle, and charging multiple devices simultaneously to hit that continuous output limit.

And for ultra-hungry devices that need a huge burst to kick on (like if you were using a household, full power microwave for some reason), the Elite 300 can burst up to 4,800 W of A/C output to get things going…a good 900 watts more than the 200 V2.

The Elite 300 also adds a 30A RV-style outlet, and a higher output 140W USB-C port for laptops, etc.

Both have cigarette lighter sockets, helping you power electric coolers/fridges more efficiently, which is a nice feature that not every portable power station offers.
