Boreas Campers has launched a blank canvas camper trailer with serious off-road capability that won’t break the bank, letting you build out your own dream camper as budget allows.
At just $14,990, it’s the most affordable camper yet. While it’s empty on the inside, they didn’t skimp on features. Long travel suspension, all-terrain tires, and a fully articulating hitch on a rock solid chassis give you an excellent platform to build on.

“We’re excited to offer the high-level offroad performance Boreas Campers is known for while targeting a broader market based on a more affordable price,” said Matt Reichel, Founder and President of Boreas Campers. “The UB is a great way for newer campers to get into a Boreas and start exploring off road, seasoned campers to upgrade their rig and bring their existing gear, and DIY builders to have a rock solid foundation to build upon. It is a really great option for a wide range of folks to get out and enjoy nature and the adventures that are waiting out there.”
The UB features the same robust chassis, offroad suspension, and composite panel construction that Boreas is known for on their other trailers, it’s just that this one comes ready to be built out at home. It’s a fully capable camper at a price meant to appeal to a new category of adventure seekers.

Just like the flagship Boreas Campers, the UB rides on 17-inch steel wheels and BFGoodrich All Terrain KO2 tires, with a Cruisemaster CRS2 independent suspension, adding up to 20” of ground clearance. It also has electric brakes, a fully articulating D035 hitch, and front and rear hitch receivers perfect for storage boxes, bikes, or adventure motos up to 400 pounds with the optional custom moto tray.

Inside, it’s a blank slate, perfect for the DIY campers who want to tailor their trailer to exactly how they use it. The UB offers a solid platform for customization with premium materials like a powder-coated steel frame and fully insulated 1.8-inch-thick walls.

At 16 feet long, 7 feet wide, and 80 inches tall, the UB easily navigates tight, twisty trails. And at just 1,425 pounds dry, a wide range of mid-sized vehicles can easily tow it. With limited add-on options available, the UB can be customized at the factory while maintaining its low price point.

The UB rounds out the specs with Cruisemaster D035 hitch coupler and parking brake, a 7-point plug, a front jack with wheel, and all LED lighting with reverse lights. Other key features include the double doors with Tern Overland windows with integrated blackout shade, bug screen and vent, MaxxAir 6200 All Weather fan, and load-bearing fenders.
