Escapod’s TOPO2 camper trailer is somewhat unique thanks to a one-piece, single-mold fiberglass body, and now they’ve tailored an edition specifically for mountain bikers.
From a built-in tool garage and workstand to swing-away bike rack, outdoor shower, and more, it’s a well-conceived solution for getting to those hard-to-reach trails, then kicking back and relaxing afterward. Here’s what you need to know…
The new TOPO2 MTB comes with a suite of Feedback Sports tools (the $350 Team Edition Tool Kit, to be exact), which are held in a custom-molded wall inside the galley.
Remove the picnic table cover and you have access to all of the tools in plain sight…no digging through a bag or having to stow a kit somewhere inside. Honestly, this is awesome.
Their bull bar style Switchback Hitch swingaway rear bumper has an integrated 2″ hitch, letting move completely out of the way for unfettered access to the galley.
It also includes Feedback’s Mechanic Clamp, which holds your bikes for repairs and has an easy slide-to-lock clamp that’s one of the best out there.
The TOPO2 MTB comes with the all-new Kuat Piston ION E-Bike Rack, which holds two 80lb e-bikes when mounted to an RV or trailer (like this one). It’s rated for off-road use, too, however bike weight capacity drops to 50lbs. (Use the rack on-road and mounted directly to your vehicle, though, and it’s rated for bikes up to 100lbs each)
The Switchback Hitch locks into multiple positions so it holds steady when parked, too. Integrated MOLLE panel and Rotopax mounting platform comes on it.
Like a good downhill bike, the TOPO2 MTB has off-road chops thanks to a 4.5″ travel suspension and massive 23″ of ground clearance. It uses independent axles on each side for improved wheel articulation.
It rolls on 265/70R17 (about 31.6″) General Grabber A/T tires, and those treads are proper “LT” C-rated tires ready for off-road use.
The galley has a full kitchen with large stainless steel sink, ENO 2-burner stove, and space for a YETI 75 cooler (or an upgrade to an ARB 63 Fridge/Freezer), and plenty of storage.
The TOPO2 MTB is built off their Voyager Platform, which includes all the bells and whistles. Key features include:

Dry weight is around 2,000lbs, so it can be towed with almost any vehicle.
