Featuring 14 tools and a slim profile, the new Leatherman Bond feels like an instant classic. Designed with the basics, it packs the kind of cutting and fixing tools we’re most likely to need in a pinch, whether fixing something small on our van or truck, or getting bikes or SUPs ready to go. Here’s what’s on board…
The Bond is a 5.8oz stainless steel tool with a smoother handle that gets rounded edges to be more comfortable. And it measures just 4″ x 1″ x 0.5″ when folded, so it’s ultra compact. Inside, the main blade is 420HC, which is a higher carbon steel that can be made much harder so it’ll last longer (and should hold an edge longer, too). The other tools are:
- Needlenose Pliers
- Regular Pliers
- Hard-wire Cutters
- Wire Cutters
- Wire Stripper
- 420HC Blade
- Awl
- Can Opener
- Bottle Opener
- Wood/Metal File
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Medium Screwdriver
- Small Screwdriver
- Ruler (4 in | 10 cm)
The Leatherman Bond is available now for $49.95, making it one of the more affordable everyday carry multitools from the brand.

While it’s not listed as a tool, the loop on the end lets you use it as a weight for tossing strings over tree branches, something we’ve found helpful for hanging food or lanterns above paws…whether animal or child. Several accessories (like the belt clip and classic leather holster) sold separately.
