The history of the Land Cruiser is complicated, with different markets getting different iterations. These included “station wagons” that met consumer demand for off-road capability combined with on-road comfort, as well as the more compact Prado line that led to the Lexus GX 470 model for North America.
Speaking of Lexus, fans will appreciate that the new GX550 comes out a clear winner over the latest LC thanks to its more robust engine. All in all, a very well done documentary that moves along quickly while still diving plenty deep.
