With a new quick-capture design that cradles the tires without touching the frame, the new Hollywood Racks Crosstrack comes in one- and two-bike models.
The wheel trays fit up to 4″ tires and, unlike most racks like this, it has a front wheel cradle to help the bike settle into place as you ratchet the hoops over the tires. An adjustable tire cradle holds wheels from 20″ up to 29″.
The trays support up to 66lbs each, so you can easily use it to carry most e-bikes with up to 52″ wheelbases. An optional ramp is sold separately to help you roll heavier bikes onto the rack.
When not in use, the cradles fold down flat and the rack folds up against your vehicle. Or, tilt it down while loaded for easier access to your trunk or tailgate. A rear-mounted release handle makes it easier to lift and lower.
Available for 1.25″ and 2″ hitches, the larger 2″ model has a tool-free anti-wobble knob to keep the rack secure. And an included locking hitch pin is keyed to match the 8′ security cable to keep everything where you left it.
