New interior and exterior LED lighting lets you light up the inside for reading and playing games, as well as underneath the tent for safer entry and exit. They also make a great area light.
The lights are also dimmable and can change hues from bright white to warm amber, and a nice in-between warm white, too. You’ll need to provide your own USB power supply to the tent to use the lights, there’s no integrated battery pack.
Inside, a self-inflating 4″ foam/air mattress will air up on its own if you’re not in a rush. Or, use the included AirDown pump to quickly inflate it. Or deflate it if you need to make room inside for pillows, blankets, sleeping bags, or other gear while the tent is closed.
Underneath is a natural cork floorboard, which is waterproof and insulates both temperature and sound.
The Skycamp DLX has the same low-profile, insulated, fiber-reinforced shell and aluminum honeycomb base as their other campers. It has large side windows with rain covers that can be propped up and their overhead Stargaze window for natural light.
