Alongside a racier Track Spec concept, Infiniti has just released this Terrain Spec QX80 concept, built around their largest SUV but modded for all the things we like to do off-road.
Key upgrades include rooftop lightbar, pop-up tent (which we hear might be from James Baroud), and brush guards to protect the windshield. It’s covered in a custom satin basalt wrap to protect the paint, too.

A side-exit exhaust aids rear departure angles, and upgraded fenders shroud larger all-terrain tires. They’re not talking specifics, but do say it has increased ground clearance, too.

It has their existing Invisible Hood View, which turns almost the entire dash into a ground camera, and 3D Around View Monitors to help navigate tough terrain blocked by the broad, tall hood.
For now, it’s purely a concept, but with the growing overland market (and people with money who just want to look like they get off road), we think it’s an interesting move that would at least be worth offering as a limited run.
