Midland’s new MAV60 Magnetic Mount Holder trades the slotted mount for an N50 neodymium magnet mount to hold your radio and handheld.
The mounting system includes interchangeable plates that attach to walkie talkies via belt clip slots, or screw directly into their MicroMobile radio microphones.
Compatible devices include:
- all Midland FRS and GMRS walkie talkies
- MXT115, MXT115P, MXT275, MXT575, MXT295, MXT595, MXMC01 MicroMobile units
The magnetic base measures approximately 2″ x 1.4″ x 0.3″ and attaches vie included 3M tape and/or screws.
The attachment plates that go on the radio is about 1″ diameter, with distinct versions included for both handhelds and corded, the former still letting you use your belt clip.
The magnetic plate also lets you quickly stick across different metal surfaces, like the side of your car, MOLLE panels, etc., adding versatility to your cockpit. MSRP is $39.99, available now.
