If you’ve seen Midland’s original external speaker and thought “that’s great, but it’s way too big”, you’re not alone. They listened, and now there’s a much more compact option that’ll fit more vehicles and side-by-sides.
The new Midland Mini External Speaker is just 4.8″ x 3″ and comes with a 180ยบ mounting bracket. But it’s got a loud 10-watt speaker for sound big enough to hear over the noise of offroad driving. The speaker is IP67 water- and dust-proof, making it perfect for open-air cockpits.
It’s powered and controlled by your radio, and plugs into Midland’s (or any) powered radio with a standard 3.5mm audio jack. A shielded 6.5-foot cable is included, but you can use a longer cable if you need to as long as it’s shielded and grounded.
