The Offrotie Magnetic Mini Hose Reel makes vanlife much easier by putting a 10m hose inside a magnetic reel that sticks to the side of your van.
This keeps everything off the ground, so it won’t get muddy or worse…some of those filling stations are also dump stations and, well, gross. It also makes retracting the hose a simple one-handed operation.
The reel has two rubber-coated magnets to stick securely to any ferrous metal exterior. It’s strong enough to hold, but easy to remove and stow, too. The tail is a 1.5m hose for connecting to your freshwater tank’s fill valve.
Or, use it in reverse and hang a shower head from the short end and run the hose to a spigot, then stick it high up on your van and enjoy using both hands for other things while showering.
It comes in three colors (orange, pink, and yellow) and retails for just $99. It includes two connectors, one adapter, and a three-jet nozzle. Measurements are 30cm W x 17cm D x 30cm H, weight is 2.15kg (4.75lbs).
