Amazon’s 2021 Prime Day sale is huge…and overwhelming. We scoured the deals to find the best bargains on great gear for road trips, car camping, and general outdoor activities and family travel. Some are time limited or have limited quantities and won’t last the whole two days, so check a sale quickly if you’re interested, it may not last!
Here’s our best finds so far…
NOCO Battery Boosters & Power Management offer small to huge battery jump start solutions for even the largest vans, SUVs and RVs, and they’re up to 35% off. Yes, we may have auxiliary batteries on board, but if you’ve ever (or currently) owned an RV, you know things don’t always work like they should. Plus, most of these work great to charge phones or power USB camp lights, too!
Garmin’s Smartwatches, Dash Cams, and GPS navigation are up to 40% off, and make a great option for navigating the trails and overland routes, or just having a recording of your on-pavement “adventures” in traffic…you know, just in case.
For car camping, you don’t need the lightest or highest tech tents and outdoor gear. Coleman makes stuff that our friends have used for years of 2-3 times per year family camping and love it. But that table? It’s awesome and perfectly sized resting drinks and a lantern on, and small enough to bring a couple so you can space things out!
For tents, we say go big…if space in your car isn’t much of a constraint, having extra room to move and keep clothes and stuff handy inside the tent is awesome. We’d rather sleep two people in a 6-person tent if we could than cram into a smaller tent!
