RiG’d Supply’s new, upgraded RambleSwing Pro adds more load capacity, a wider swing to clear bigger trucks, and works with their new HitchingPost accessory mounting system.
All in, it means you can bring more (or heavier) e-bikes and add your water/fuel tanks, traction boards, and more to the back of your rig. Here’s what you need to know…
The RambleSwing Pro is a heavy-duty swing-out hitch mount. Compared to the original (non “Pro” version, still available), this one carries 350lbs of cargo (50lbs more than original.
It’s also 2″ wider (~27″ from hitch) to better clear tailgates on full-size trucks and vans, but not too wide for mid-sized vehicles.

The flip-flop design lets you mount it to swing in either direction, and it has all of the features you’d want like wobble-free installation, Delrin glide plates for smooth swinging even fully loaded, and a secure latch to keep it closed while driving.

Load ratings & specs include:
- 350lbs total load capacity
- 150lbs of bikes when using vertical bike rack*
- 100lbs of vertical gear on HitchingPost
- 2″ / 2.5″ / 3″ hitch options
- Weighs 74lbs
*Bike weight for tray-style hitch racks is limited by the rack’s capacity. MSRP is $849, and as of this post going live, lead times are about 4-6 weeks.
RiG’d Supply HitchingPost

The HitchingPost is a vertical arm that bolts onto the RambleSwing Pro. It comes with accessory wings for mounting fuel and water containers, first aid kits, traction boards, whatever.

It holds up to 150lbs of cargo, and costs just $150, a relative bargain in overland accessory mount terms…

…and works with their $399 UltraTable and MegaTable fold-down tables (not quite as much of a bargain…). Available now.
