The recently introduced RiG’d Supply Rambleswing Pro swing-out hitch extender now has a spare tire mount, and it’s launching with a bundle made specifically for 200-series Land Cruisers and the Lexus LX 570.
The Rambleswing Pro was launched this May with a wider swing to clear biggertailgates, plus increased load capacity to hold all the overland accessories you want.
The original collection of accessories included a table, MOLLE panels, Jerry Can holster and more. Now, they’ve added an option for carrying full-size off-road spare tires, up to 37″.
At launch, it’s bundled with a RambleSwing Pro Short Fit for $1,149. This combo is perfect for the LC200/LX 570 and their high-mounted, bumper-centric hitch.
RiG’d Supply founder Luke Wronski says this is a unique vehicle in that the hitch starts off in a high clearance position, which let them maintain full ground clearance with the stronger, longer RambleSwing Pro rather than their original UltraSwing, which has a raised swing-arm to improve ground clearance, but would interfere with these vehicle’s split tailgate.
Until now, if you liked RiG’d’s swing-outs but wanted a spare tire carrier, you had to go for the UltraSwing. Which is awesome, but it’s raised design creates clearance issues for some vehicles or hitch mount locations.
For example, if you have an aftermarket high-clearance rear bumper that relocates the hitch closer to the bottom go your tailgate, the UltraSwing could block it from opening.
The new RambleSwing Pro spare tire carrier differs from the standard HitchingPost accessory mount in that this new one is straight up and down, not angled. That means your tire will be offset to the left or right by about 6″ depending on which way you install the swing-out.

I don’t have a Land Cruiser, sooo…which swing-out do I want?
If you have any other vehicle, then here’s how to decide between the UltraSwing and RambleSwing Pro:
Get the UltraSwing if you want maximum ground clearance and your total cargo (spare, recovery gear, fuel, bike rack & bike, etc.) will be under 250-275lbs, or you need to retain your vehicle’s ability to tow a trailer while still using the swing-out.
Get the RambleSwing Pro if you want up to 350lbs of load capacity, need a lower-profile swing-out to clear your rear door, and don’t need to tow anything.
