The new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 finally gives their adventure moto to U.S. markets, with delivery dates estimated anywhere from September 2024 to January 2025.
The Himalayan 450 is their first liquid-cooled engine, with enough power to satisfy the domestic market, and enough time to work out any bugs they’ve found since introducing it to Indian and European markets at the end of 2023.

The engine is peppier, with almost double the horsepower and torque of its predecessor. And like prior Himalayan models, it’s designed to perform in the thin air above 5,000m. And a high-placement air intake keeps it performing when wading through water.
Ride-by-wire lets you choose between ride modes to suit the terrain, controlling throttle response and improving fuel economy. And a light-action clutch makes it all easy to control.
One of the standout modern features is a circular digital display with Google Maps integration, offering navigation directly from the speedometer. It’ll also show music selection from streaming apps, and you cycle through the screens from a thumb switch on the bar.
The display has night and day modes, going to a dark background at night to reduce visual distractions and eye strain.

Depending on who you ask, it could arrive Stateside as early as September 2024 or as late as January 2025. Either way, the price is incredibly attractive, just $5,799 for the base model before options.
