We swung by Vandoit’s HQ to see what was new, and they gave us a quick tour of each model.
Unlike small-batch custom builders, Vandoit makes three base models using an extruded aluminum track endo-skeleton on a production line. This lets them crank out vans much faster than boutique builders while also offering consistently good products, and they’re still highly customizable by the owner.

Vandoit started out using fleet vans, but their volume has ramped up so much that they’re buying and converting brand new vans now. They focus exclusively on the Ford Transit platform, allowing them to hold the minimum amount of parts and inventory, keeping their production process streamlined.
Their massive factory in Blue Springs, MO, is actually their third location. They’ve moved twice to accommodate growth, and they’re already pushing to the walls of this massive warehouse.
One of the most unique things about their vans are the metal interior skeletons that hold all of the accessories, shelves, bed, storage trays, kitchen pods, etc. There’s no wood or other natural fibers or materials that can absorb moisture.
The Liv model (originally called Go) is the same one I have (it’s the gray one in the top photo…getting more solar panels added). It has a full-width platform bed on a hydraulic lift, making it easy to fit more bikes and stuff underneath, or maximize sleeping head room when we’re traveling light.
All models can be equipped with a single- or dual-slide out cargo tray, making it easier to get bikes and stuff in and out.
This is easily one of the most fun window graphics I’ve seen on any vehicle.
