Filed under “why hasn’t anyone done this yet?”, the new Victory 4×4 Roof Rack Wind Fairing adds a second air ramp in front of your rooftop tent to reduce drag.
Most full-length roof racks popular on the overland scene have a wind fairing on the front, however it stops at the top of the rack. Anything on top of the rack? It’s smack right out there in the wind, and it’s off square shaped.

With our vehicles needing all the help they can get to improve aerodynamics, the new Victory 4×4 RTT fairing stacks on top of your racks front fairing to help air slide up and over your rooftop tent more smoothly, likely reducing drag.

It’s designed to mount directly to their own roof racks, however it will bolt to any rack using slotted, T-Track cross bars.

The fairing can be mounted anywhere on your rack. Got a taller fold-out tent that sits further back on your rack? No problem, just mount this on a cross bar close to the front of it. It may not do quite as much for really tall tents -it’s only about 3″ tall- but it’s something.

The fairing is cut from 1/8″ steel, then given a two-stage satin textured black powdercoat over durable zinc primer finish. Mounting hardware is included, and it’s width-adjustable from 44″ to 54″. MSRP is $179.00.
