Z1 Offroad specializes exclusively in tuning and upgrading Nissan and Infiniti vehicles, and their latest creation is a supercharger kit for the 2024 Nissan Frontier.

Shown here along with all their other bits and kits for the rig, the supercharger is a bolt-on upgrade that’s in final testing as of this post. Here’s the video walk through, followed by pics and more specs & details:

It’s designed for Nissan’s 3.8L V6 engine with an OEM fitment that anyone can install and eliminates the need for complex pulley and belt systems to drive it.

It’s built around a 1.9L Harrop HTV blower with Eaton roots-style internals, and it’s paired with Z1’s carbon fiber intake, which leads outward to…

…their carbon fiber snorkel intake. No official word on availability or power output for the supercharger, but the snorkel and intake kits are available now in HDPE. Carbon fiber ones are a maybe…let them know.

The suspension is upgraded with their own forged upper control arms with stainless steel adjustable mounting points for easier alignment corrections.

They paired these with lower control arms from Nissan’s full-size Titan pickup and Radflo coilovers, which come in OEM-equivalent and long-travel versions depending on which other parts you’re willing to swap.

Wheels are their 1 ATK-06 offroad wheels, which come in gun metal, bronze, and black and weigh in around 26lbs each.

They’re designed to (just barely!) fit the upgraded brakes from a NISMO track car, offering more stopping power for heavily built rigs.

Lots more on their website, they really do make or offer just about everything you’d need to build a Nissan into a proper overland and/or off-road vehicle.

I'm a serial traveller who's crisscrossed the US more times than I can count. Current rigs are a '19 Vandoit Ford Transit camper van and an '05 GX470, both fully outfitted for off-road adventures, plus a healthy fleet of gravel bikes & MTBs. On two wheels or four, I love exploring the world from the backroads.
